State Senator Terri Bryant (R-Murphysboro) is asking southern Illinois residents to help brighten Valentine’s Day for local seniors through her annual Valentines for Seniors Card Drive. Individuals, families, schools, churches, and community groups are invited to make or sign Valentine’s Day cards that will be delivered to seniors in area nursing homes and assisted living facilities.
Cards must be mailed or dropped off by February 6th at either district office:
Mt. Vernon Office: 2929 Broadway Street, Suite 3, Mt. Vernon, IL 62864 (8:30 a.m.–4 p.m., Mon–Fri)
Murphysboro Office: 1032 W. Industrial Park Road, Murphysboro, IL 62966 (7 a.m.–3 p.m., Mon–Fri)
Cards should be placed in the marked mailbox inside each office during business hours, with an outdoor mailbox available after hours. For details, call 618-684-1100.
