The Center Street School Board will hold its regular Board of Education meeting tonight (Tuesday) at 6pm in the Center Street School Boardroom. The meeting’s agenda includes a range of important topics and action items relevant to students, staff, and the school community.
The meeting will begin with the call to order, roll call, and an opportunity for citizens to address non-agenda items. Board members will review and approve the minutes from the December 15, 2025, regular and closed sessions.

Financial matters will be discussed, including the treasurer’s report, payroll, and monthly bills. The superintendent’s report will cover several key updates: the FY25 audit, revenue to expense report, food service and transportation reports, the proposed FY27 calendar, 8th grade graduation plans, student handbook amendments, building and curriculum reports, and a field trip request.

Action items for consideration include approval of the FY25 audit and student handbook amendments. Principals from Center Street School and North Side School will present their reports, and board members will have an opportunity to make requests or share reports of their own.

A closed session is scheduled to discuss personnel matters, student discipline, collective negotiations, litigation, public office vacancies, and review of closed session audio and written minutes. Following closed session, the board will act on the resignation of the assistant baseball coach and decide on the disposition of closed session minutes and audio tapes.
The meeting will conclude with informational items for board members and those in attendance.
