45-year-old Megan Valentine is set for a pre-trial hearing tomorrow (Thursday) afternoon at 1pm at the Edwards County Courthouse in Albion. Valentine faces murder and additional felony charges in connection of the shooting death her husband, Michael Valentine
The Illinois State Police Division of Criminal Investigation Zone 8 arrested Megan S. Valentine of Albion in November 2024, following the death of Illinois Second Judicial Circuit Court Judge Michael Valentine.
On November 5th just after 12 noon, an Edwards County Sheriff’s Deputy discovered Michael Valentine’s body outside a residence in the 1100 block of County Road 600 in Albion after responding to a call at the scene.
Megan Valentine is being held in the Wayne County Jail in Fairfield pending tomorrow’s pre-trial hearing.
