The public is invited to a “Get to Know Your Candidate” event tomorrow (Saturday) from 10 to 11 a.m. at 5 Brothers Restaurant, located at 110 Market Avenue in Fairfield.
Organizers say coffee and tea will be provided, and food will be available for purchase. The event is hosted by Lee Ann Samford.
The event will feature Angela Evans, from the Sesser area and a Republican candidate for State Representative in Illinois’ 116th District. According to her campaign, Evans supports term limits, says she will defend Second Amendment rights, and describes herself as pro-life. The campaign says Evans will be available to meet voters, answer questions, and discuss her priorities for Illinois.
