The St. Louis Blues scored a late goal during a 5-4 win over the Florida Panthers at Enterprise Center. Jimmy Snuggerud scored the game-winning goal with nine seconds left in regulation. Jake Neighbours, Jordan Kyrou, Jonatan Berggren, and Oskar Sundqvist also lit the lamp in the victory. The Blues are in last place in the Central Division with 49 points. They host Columbus tomorrow night.

The Chicago Blackhawks surrendered four goals in the second period during a 6-2 loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins at PPG Paints Arena. Connor Murphy gave Chicago an early lead in the tenth minute of the game before Pittsburgh scored six goals in a row. Connor Bedard also lit the lamp in the losing effort. The Hawks are in sixth place in the Central Division with 51 points. They host Columbus tonight.

>>Patriots Not Concerned About Drake Maye’s Shoulder

(Foxboro, MA) — The Patriots don’t appear to be worried about the health of their starting quarterback. Head coach Mike Vrabel said he doesn’t have much concern regarding Drake Maye, who was listed as a limited participant on Thursday for the second straight practice. Maye was not seen throwing in the portions of practice open to media members, which is a change from his normal routine. He said after practice that he’ll do whatever it takes to be ready for Super Bowl 60.

(San Francisco, CA) — ICE is not going to be at the Super Bowl next Sunday. The agency will have a presence in the San Francisco area next weekend but have no plans to be at Levi’s Stadium on Sunday. ICE will also not enforce an immigration policy at any NFL-sponsored events across the Bay Area over the next few days. DHS may still have a presence in and around the game.

(Washington, DC) — Americans will devour millions more chickens wings during this year’s Super Bowl compared to last year. In its annual Chicken Wing Report, the National Chicken Council projects Americans will eat one-point-48-billion chicken wings during Super Bowl 60. That’s around ten-million more wings than last year. One-point-48-billion wings is enough to stretch 27 times between the New England Patriots’ Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts to the Seattle Seahawks’ Lumen Field in Seattle. Overall, football fans have eaten nearly 20-percent more wings during this year’s NFL playoffs compared to last year.

(Philadelphia, PA) — The Eagles have finally settled on a new offensive coordinator. The team announced on Thursday that Sean Mannion will take over the role. The 33-year-old was the quarterbacks coach for the Packers this season after beginning his coaching career as an offensive assistant in Green Bay the year before. Mannion replaces Kevin Patullo, who was demoted after an abysmal first season as offensive coordinator.

(Atlanta, GA) — A big man on the Hawks needs some dental work. Onyeka Okongwu [[ own-YEH-kuh oh-KONG-wu ]] lost a tooth after taking an errant elbow to the face from Celtics guard Jaylen Brown during Wednesday’s game. He was called for a flagrant foul and Okongwu shot a free throw before exiting the game. Atlanta held the forward out of its Thursday matchup against Houston as a result.

(La Jolla, CA) — Justin Rose is sitting atop the leaderboard after the first round of the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines. Rose shot a 10 under 62 to begin the tournament. He holds a one stroke lead over Justin Lower, who is nine under par. Max Greyserman and Hideki Matsuyama are tied for third at eight under. Luke List, Danny Walker and Sam Stevens will be among the first group of players teeing off round two.

(Winston-Salem, NC) — The NASCAR Cup Series kicks off the 2026 season this weekend. The drivers are gearing up for a preseason battle in the Cook Out Clash at Bowman Gray Stadium on Sunday. Kyle Larson hopes to defend his title while runner-up Denny Hamlin eyes his first-ever championship. His 60 wins are the most by a driver without a cup. The regular season opener takes place at classic Daytona with a pair of qualifying races on February 12th.

(Melbourne) — The women’s final is set at the Australian Open. Top-seeded Aryna Sabalenka took down 12th-seeded Elina Svitolina in straight sets to advance to the Final. Fifth-seeded Elena Rybakina knocked out sixth-seeded American Jessica Pegulat in straight sets to set up a championship match against Sabalenka. On the men’s side, top-seeded Carlos Alcaraz was battling third-seeded Alexander Zverev to move one step closer to his first Australian Open title. Second-seeded Jannik Sinner is facing fourth-seeded Novak Djokovic in the other semifinal early Friday morning.

(Undated) — Youth coaches across the country are burning out and considering quitting, with parents ranking as a top reason. A new national survey by the U.S. Center for SafeSport polled nearly 35-hundred coaches across 66 sports. Many coaches say they experienced verbal abuse from parents. More than one-third reported discrimination based on sex, age, or physical appearance. Coaches also cited misconduct, including swearing at or humiliating officials and mistreating athletes. Female coaches reported higher rates of discrimination, burnout, and abuse than male coaches.
