By Mark Wells Jan 30, 2026 | 5:56 AM

A Mt. Carmel company, Revelation Machinery is expanding its operations after acquiring the former Baldwin Vision Systems (Web Printing) building, located just south of Fairfield. The purchase was made by company owner Tanner Arnold of Lancaster, IL.

Renovations on the 125,000-square-foot facility began two weeks ago, as the company prepares the space for its specialized business. Revelation Machinery buys and auctions a variety of industrial equipment—including presses, shears, and heavy-duty motors—sourced from businesses across the United States. These machines are then auctioned to buyers throughout North America, according to company representative Sean Maurer.

The ongoing upgrades to the building include the addition of a customer display floor and an on-site apartment for employees who travel for work. Maurer also shared that there are early plans to expand the facility further to accommodate the company’s continued growth.

Details about an upcoming open house will be released at a later date.
