A two-vehicle crash Monday afternoon sent one man to the hospital after his pickup was struck along West Robinson Street.
According to authorities, 72-year-old Thomas E. Blasdd of Wayne City was driving a 2015 GMC 1500 pickup when he pulled into the path of another truck, resulting in a collision that damaged both vehicles. The second driver, 52-year-old Michael E. Breeze of Keenes, was uninjured.
Wayne County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene around 1:45 p.m., and Wayne City Ambulance Service transported Blasdd to Fairfield Memorial Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
