40-year-old Amanda R. Morales of Bluford lost control of her 2001 Jeep Cherokee while driving eastbound on County Road 1300 North in Hickory Hill Township around 3:35 p.m. last Friday.
According to Morales, her vehicle lost traction on the ice and snow, veered north, struck a ditch, and overturned, coming to rest on its driver’s side.
Wayne County Sheriff’s Department responded to the scene, along with Wayne City Ambulance personnel. Morales refused medical treatment at the scene.
