49-year-old Brian S. Medler of Fairfield, admitted in Wayne County Circuit Court Tuesday to violating the terms of a previous two-year probation sentence stemming from a burglary case dating to April 2021.
Judge Denton Aud sentenced Medler to three years in the Illinois Department of Corrections, along with court costs. Medler was given 56 days credit for time served in the Wayne County Jail. Under the sentencing agreement, six cases were dismissed.
Kaine Nino, 33, of Albion, pleaded guilty to Aggravated Identity Theft, a Class 2 felony.
Nino was sentenced to 24 months of probation and court costs, and was ordered to pay $475 in restitution to the victim
