FAIRFIELD AND CISNE FFA CHAPTERS EXCEL AT SECTION 23 PROFICIENCY AWARD JUDGING

Fairfield and Cisne FFA Chapters demonstrated outstanding achievement during the Section 23 Proficiency Award Judging held at Mt. Carmel High School on Wednesday.

Fairfield FFA had a standout night, securing victories in 12 proficiency award categories at the Section 23 Proficiency Recordbooks event. As a result, Fairfield FFA members will advance to the District Proficiency Awards, scheduled for March 4 at Mt. Vernon.

The Fairfield FFA winners and their categories include:

Layne Weber – Manufacturing/Trades

Jude Carter – Ag Mechanics Repair

Jaxon Basnett – Ag Sales

Harv Keyser – Diversified Ag Production

Will Lewis – Environment/Natural Resources

Will French – Equine Science Entrepreneur

Breychen Kovacich – Equine Science

Grant Wiles – Fruit Production

Wren Braddock – Outdoor Recreation

Ryan Vaughan – Service Learning

Kacie Kinsolving – Small Animal Care

Addy King – Wildlife Management

 

Twenty-two Cisne FFA members submitted Supervised Agricultural Experiences (SAEs), commonly known as recordbooks, at the Section 23 Proficiency Award Judging. Several Cisne members earned first place in their respective categories, qualifying them for the District 5 interview competition on March 4 at Mt. Vernon High School.
