The Wayne County Spelling Bee took center stage Thursday night at Fairfield City Hall, drawing talented students from across the area. Eleven students competed for top honors in this annual event.
Myla Hearle, representing Cisne Middle School, emerged as the winner after a challenging series of rounds. Sagan Dunn from New Hope also showcased impressive spelling skills and finished as runner-up.
As the Wayne County champion, Hearle will advance to represent the county in the next round of competition.
