Barbara Mabel Davis, 86, of Fairfield passed, away at 4:39PM on Monday, February 9, 2026, at her home. She retired from Airtex after 39 years. Barbara was born in Hamilton County on November 16, 1939, to Jesse and Josephine (Laird) Stroud. She married Larry Davis on July 19, 1959.
Barbara is survived by her husband- Larry Davis of Fairfield; daughter- Sharon (Steve) Etheridge of Mill Shoals; grandchildren- Isaac Etheridge of Pittsburgh IL, Hannah Etheridge of Phoenix AZ, Darian (Matt) Wallis of Eldridge MO, and Devon Davis of Evansville IN; great granddaughter- Kayley Wallis; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, son- Doug Davis, great grandson- Colt Wallis, Sisters- Roberta Scherer and Mary Ruth Murphy, and brother- Johnie Stroud.
Funeral Services will be held at 1PM on Friday, February 13, 2026, at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home with burial in Maple Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home is in charge of all the arrangements.
