
Fairfield Memorial Hospital is actively seeking applicants for the part-time position of Foundation Director. This vital leadership role will guide the hospital’s nonprofit foundation, focusing on planning and executing fundraising efforts, fostering community relationships, and advancing charitable support for quality healthcare throughout the region.
The Foundation Director will provide administrative oversight for the Fairfield Memorial Hospital Foundation and collaborate closely with donors, community partners, and the Foundation Board of Directors. Responsibilities include developing and implementing fundraising strategies, managing donor relations, securing grants, organizing special events, and ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards.
The position offers 20 hours per week with a flexible in-person schedule, a competitive annual salary up to $35,000, and a comprehensive benefits package. Benefits include retirement plans, dental and vision insurance, short-term disability coverage, and paid leave.
Additionally, the Foundation Director will represent the Foundation at public forums, collaborate with local businesses and civic organizations, and support governance and budgeting activities with the Foundation Board.
Applicants should possess a bachelor’s degree in business, communications, healthcare administration, or a related field, along with three to five years of experience in fundraising, nonprofit development, or financial management. Preference will be given to candidates experienced in donor management software and modern fundraising technologies.
