By Mark Wells Feb 12, 2026 | 11:59 AM

Wayne County 4-H is offering a creative opportunity for local youth with a hands-on art workshop set for Monday, February 16th at the Wayne County Extension Office. The workshop will introduce participants to the Zentangle Method, a relaxing and approachable art technique that helps transform simple, structured patterns into beautiful works of art.

Open to youth ages 8-18 as of September 1, 2025, the session is designed for all skill levels—from beginners to experienced artists. The Zentangle Method encourages focus, confidence, and creative expression, making it a perfect fit for those interested in the Visual Arts project area within 4-H.

The event will run from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Extension Office, located at 2B Frontier Drive in Fairfield. To participate, 4-H members must register through their ZSuite account at https://4h.zsuite.org, while non-members can sign up at https://4h.zsuite.org/external-event-registration. Registration closes on February 15.
