The New Hope School District (CCSD) Board is set to hold its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, February 17th at 7:00 p.m. According to the published agenda, board members will address a range of matters affecting the district, from financial business to student recognition and new hires.
The meeting will begin with roll call and approval of the consent agenda, which includes minutes from the January 20th meeting, the treasurer’s report, and bills for payment. Community members will have an opportunity to speak during the visitor comment period.
Highlights of the agenda include:
Recognition of Sagan Dunn, the district’s Spelling Bee Winner
Announcement of the upcoming IPA Student Recognition Breakfast
Committee and superintendent’s reports, as well as updates on recent Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests
In new business, the board will consider:
Authorizing the superintendent to advertise for LP gas bids for the 2025-2026 school year
Hiring Jennifer Taulbee as a paraprofessional for the remainder of the current school year
Setting and updating gym rental and usage fees
The board is also scheduled to enter executive session to discuss personnel performance, evaluation, employment, and real estate matters.
