HOPE TRUST PRESENTS DIVIDEND CHECK TO WAYNE COUNTY

Wayne County, Illinois, has received a dividend check from HOPE Trust, the country’s health benefit plan.

Now commemorating its 15th year of providing benefits to county, school district, city, village, and other local government employees throughout the state of Illinois, HOPE Trust is unique in the state. It is owned and managed by employers in local public entities, rather than an insurance company, and any health plan claims more than budgeted are shared by all the member employers.

At its annual membership meeting in late July, the HOPE Trust Executive Board in conjunction with Plan Administrator, Snedeker Risk Management (SRM) proudly announced the approved dividend issuance for a combined total of $345,000.

HOPE Trust has provided reliable health benefits to public entities for over a decade, helping them to manage costs while still offering quality coverage. The Trust’s unique structure allows it to distribute surplus funds to its members when claims are lower than projected.

Wayne County’s dividend check for $12,420.00 was officially presented at the County Board’s monthly meeting on Thursday, February 12th.
