NARCAN INFORMATION AND EDUCATION PROGRAM TO BE HELD AT FAIRFIELD PUBLIC LIBRARY

A Narcan Information and Education Program will take place at the Fairfield Public Library on Wednesday, February 25th at 5:00 p.m., offering vital overdose response training to the community. The event is presented in partnership with the Wayne County Health Department and the Fairfield Public Library as part of the “Neighbors Helping Neighbors” initiative.

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn life-saving overdose response skills and receive Narcan at no cost. The program aims to equip community members with the knowledge and tools needed to respond effectively to opioid overdoses.

The event is free and open to the public, and will be held at the Fairfield Public Library, located at 300 SE 2nd Street, Fairfield, IL 62837. Organizers encourage everyone interested in supporting overdose prevention efforts to attend.
