WAYNE CITY FFA ANNOUNCES NATIONAL FFA WEEK SCHEDULE

Wayne City FFA is excited to celebrate National FFA Week with students, staff, and the community from February 22nd–27th. The week is packed with activities and events designed to honor agriculture and showcase school spirit.

SUNDAY, 22ND:
Festivities begin at 9:45 a.m. with church and lunch at The Bridge Church west of Fairfield, followed by ice skating at the Cider Barn at 1:30 p.m. Members are encouraged to wear official dress and bring friends.

MONDAY, 23RD:
FFA members will greet elementary students at 7:30 a.m., then compete in the Milk Chugging Contest with the high school at 10:30 a.m. The dress code is camo and boots, including muck boots.

TUESDAY, 24TH:
The day starts with a petting zoo at 7:30 a.m. and features the Sweetcheeks Sundae Bar at 3:00 p.m. Participants should wear bibs and denim.

WEDNESDAY, 25TH:
The Staff Snack Cart makes its rounds at 8:30 a.m., with additional treats at 10:30 and 11:45 a.m. for the Staff Lunch. Everyone is encouraged to dress as their favorite staff member.

THURSDAY, 26TH:
The Farmers Breakfast begins at 9:00 a.m., and the Chapter’s 85th Birthday will be celebrated at 4:40 p.m. The theme for attire is gold and blue or gold and yellow.

FRIDAY, 27TH:
Friday kicks off at 7:30 a.m. with Drive Your Tractor to School. The FFA Alumni Staff Scholarship Lunch is at 11:45 a.m., followed by Staff Carb Load at noon and the Junior High Ag PBL at 2:05 p.m. Participants should wear their favorite tractor color.
