Former Frontier Community College Volleyball Coach, 51-year-old Chet Snyder was back in court Wednesday facing charges of unlawful sexual contact with two males, one of whom was a minor.
Snyder made a brief appearance before Judge Evan Owen, who scheduled the next pretrial hearing for March 24th. Since his arrest in September of last year, Snyder has relocated to the Champaign area. He remains free with pretrial conditions in place.
Snyder faces three felony charges, including two counts of criminal sexual abuse and one count of unlawful restraint, as well as a misdemeanor charge of providing alcohol to someone under the age of 21.
Judge Denton Aud has ordered that Snyder have no contact with either of the alleged victims as the case proceeds.
