A $1,498,172 winning ticket for the FastPlay Cash Castle game was sold at the Hucks Store located at 540 Fairfield Road in Mt. Vernon, according to State Lottery officials.
The winner has one year from the draw date to claim their prize. The Illinois Lottery advises the ticket holder to sign the back of the ticket and keep it in a safe place until they are ready to claim their winnings.
As a bonus for selling the winning ticket, the store will receive $14,982, which is 1% of the prize amount.
Cash Castle is a $30 progressive FastPlay game with the highest starting jackpot of any Illinois Lottery FastPlay game, beginning at $100,000 and increasing with each ticket sold statewide until the jackpot is hit.
