The Wayne County 4-H Foundation has announced the release of the 2026 Wayne County Plat Book, recently completed with the expertise of Mapping Solutions. This spiral-bound publication features detailed land ownership maps for each township in Wayne County, highlighting property boundaries for rural parcels. The plat book is available for $40 at any bank in Wayne County, the Wayne County Farm Bureau, the Wayne County Clerkâs Office, or the Wayne County Extension Office. All proceeds support the Wayne County 4-H Program.
Plat books are valuable tools for property owners, hunters, foresters, petroleum professionals, and emergency services. The land ownership data was sourced from the Wayne County Supervisor of Assessment Office and is current as of the previous fall.
The 2026 edition includes new sections on Wayne County 4-H, a soils map, watershed information, a county government directory, city and village maps, and more. This edition also features enhanced LiDAR aerial view maps, providing a 3D-like topographical perspective of the local landscape.
Many landowners will receive a postcard from Mapping Solutions introducing the new plat book. Those interested in winning a free premium wall map can submit their postcard at the Wayne County Extension Office, located on the Frontier Community College campus, to enter the drawing. The entry deadline is February 27th.
