Farm Credit Illinois is offering funding to help youth organizations make improvements in their local communities.
The lender says fifty grants of 500 dollars are available to eligible 4-H clubs and FFA chapters carrying out community improvement projects designed to bring positive change and make towns better places to live.
To qualify, groups must be located in one of the 60 central and southern Illinois counties served by Farm Credit Illinois, and must have a valid EIN and a bank account to receive grant funds.
Proposals will be scored by a grant review team, and recipients will be notified by email by the end of March. The application deadline is this Friday (February 27th).
Details and the application are available online at farmcreditIL.com/grants. Questions can be directed to Farm Credit Illinois at ask@farmcreditIL.com or 217-590-2200.
