Youth ages 8-18 are invited to grow their gardening skills this winter at the upcoming Edwards County 4-H Gardening Workshop to be held this (Monday) afternoon from 4:30pm to 5:30pm. The session will teach participants how to draw a garden plan, start seeds, choose the best time and place to begin, and master the essentials of growing a successful vegetable garden.
4-H members interested in the vegetable gardening project will also learn how to keep records, care for their garden, determine when to harvest crops, and prepare to present their project at a 4-H general project show. The workshop will be held at the Edwards County Farm Bureau and is open to all youth—4-H membership is not required.
