US ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS AT REND LAKE RECRUITING FOR SUMMER CONSERVATION POSITIONS

The US Army Corps of Engineers at Rend Lake has announced an exciting opportunity for individuals interested in conservation and natural resources. The Corps is recruiting for Student Conservation Association (SCA) positions for a 12-week period during the upcoming summer season.

Successful applicants will work directly with Natural Resources Specialists, gaining hands-on experience in interpretive outreach and conservation-related duties at Rend Lake. The program is designed to provide valuable training and practical skills for those seeking to pursue a career in environmental conservation or related fields.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old to be eligible, but do not need to be currently enrolled as students. In addition to comprehensive training, participants will receive a monthly stipend throughout the 12-week assignment.
