>>Bears Looking For Compensatory Picks

(Lake Forest, IL) — The Chicago Bears are fighting for some extra draft capital. General manager Ryan Poles told reporters yesterday that he believes that the team should get two third-round compensatory picks after Ian Cunningham was hired to become the GM of the Atlanta Falcons. Teams are supposed to receive the picks if one of their minority assistants are hired to top football jobs elsewhere. However, Matt Ryan is technically the top football executive of the Falcons, meaning the Bears would not receive the compensation. Poles says that the team is communicating with the league about the situation.

>>New Broncos’ OC Davis Webb To Be Playcaller

(Indianapolis, IN) — Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton is making a major change heading into next season. Payton announced Tuesday at the NFL Combine that newly named offensive coordinator Davis Webb will be the team’s playcaller on game days. Webb was promoted to OC earlier this offseason after serving as the team’s quarterbacks coach since 2023.

>>Dolphins Say “Everything” Is On The Table With Tua

(Miami, FL) — The Dolphins are keeping their options open with their struggling quarterback. General manager Jon-Eric Sullivan told the media on Tuesday that “everything” is on the table with Tua Tagovailoa [[ TUNG-oh-vai-LO-uh ]]. He said a trade is a possibility but Tua’s camp hasn’t formally requested one. Releasing the 27-year-old before June 1st is definitely not on the table. The move would cost the team a near-100-million-dollar dead cap hit.

>>Browns Noncommittal On QB1

(Cleveland, OH) — The starting quarterback spot in Cleveland is up for grabs. Browns general manager Andrew Berry told the media on Tuesday that they don’t have to make a decision “anytime soon” on the team’s starter next season. He said Shedeur Sanders and Deshaun Watson are in the mix, but adding a veteran starter is “to be determined.” New head coach Todd Monken was also noncommittal on naming a starter when he was hired.

>>Jets Expected To Retain RB Breece Hall

(Undated) — The Jets are likely going to bring back one of their top offensive players. General manager Darren Mougey said Tuesday that the plan is for the Green and White to retain running back Breece Hall with a new contract, or with the franchise or transition tag. Trump said the team will soon be presented with the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
