A public test of the automatic tabulating equipment, as required by Illinois law, will be held tomorrow (Friday) at 8:30 a.m. in the Edwards County Courthouse, 50 E. Main Street, Suite 9, Albion.
According to Edwards County Clerk, Melanie Knight, this test is open to representatives of political parties, the press, and the public, as prescribed by the Election Code. The test ensures the voting equipment is functioning properly ahead of upcoming elections.
