WABASH COMMUNICATIONS OPENS SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS FOR AREA HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS

By Mark Wells Feb 26, 2026 | 11:57 AM

Applications are now open for Wabash Communications scholarships, with more than $20,000 available to graduating high school seniors across the company’s service area.

Each year, Wabash Communications awards over $20,000 in scholarships to help students offset the cost of continuing their education. Funds may be used for college, junior college, trade school, or certification programs.

To be eligible, a student’s parent or legal guardian must be a member or customer of Wabash Communications or Wabash Communications Co-op. Applicants must plan to continue their education after high school, but there are no restrictions on field of study. There is also no minimum GPA requirement and no extracurricular participation requirement.

Officials say the scholarships are designed to ease the financial burden of higher education and allow students to focus on their next steps, whether that involves college coursework, technical training, or earning a professional certification.

The application process is simple and can be completed online at wabash.net/scholarships. There is no application fee, and all required information must be submitted by March 6.

Graduating seniors who meet the eligibility requirements are encouraged to apply for the opportunity to receive financial support from a local cooperative invested in the future of its communities.
