EDWARDS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS SET TO MEET MONDAY, MARCH 2ND

The Edwards County Commissioners will convene for their regular meeting on Monday, March 2nd at the Edwards County Courthouse. The session will begin at 9:00 a.m.

Commissioners are scheduled to approve minutes from the previous meeting before hearing reports from Sheriff Darby Boewe, the County Health Office, and the County Highway Department. The Southern 14 Work Force Investment Board will also be on the agenda, with commissioners expected to address the CEO Acknowledgement and Designation Form.

An executive session is slated for discussions on personnel and finance matters. The board will also review updates on the County Highway building and consider the 2026 Farmland Lease Agreement.

Additional topics include the county landfill, the Solid Waste Management Plan, and a proposed zoning ordinance. The agenda features an EMS report and discussion of the upcoming Easter Egg Hunt, which is scheduled to take place on the courthouse lawn on March 28.

Commissioners will review correspondence and other matters for discussion before approving and paying claims presented at the meeting. The session will conclude with a motion to recess or adjourn.
