Registration is now open for local in-person pesticide license testing sessions in Fairfield, Olney and Effingham. These sessions offer a convenient option for commercial, private, or special license applicators and operators.
The testing, provided by the Illinois Department of Agriculture in partnership with Illinois Extension, is free and available in Richland, Wayne, and Effingham Counties through March. All in-person testing sessions will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on each scheduled date. Early registration is encouraged due to limited class sizes.
Upcoming testing dates include:
Effingham (Farm Bureau Office): March 4th (morning and evening sessions)
Richland County: March 13th
Fairfield (Extension Office): March 19th
