A Grayville woman is in custody following a traffic stop Monday afternoon in Carmi. Police stopped 48-year-old Sabrina Carter just before 3 p.m. near the intersection of Main and Staley. Carter was taken into custody on several charges, including Aggravated Unlawful Possession of a Weapon without a FOID, Possession of Ammunition without a FOID, Possession of Cannabis in a Motor Vehicle, Operating a Motor Vehicle with Suspended Registration, and Operation of an Uninsured Motor Vehicle.
Carter was transported and lodged in the White County Jail in Carmi pending a court appearance.
