White County Sheriff, Jordan Weiss recently presented a check to Mrs. Cline on behalf of Grayville, underscoring the White County Sheriff’s Department’s commitment to student safety during the upcoming Grayville High School prom.
Funded by fines from the department’s Anti-Crime Fund, the donation will help enhance safety measures for the local high school prom, including increased supervision, transportation options, and educational programs to prevent impaired driving and other risks.
The sheriff’s department regularly promotes responsible decision-making through awareness campaigns and community outreach during prom season. Weiss emphasized the importance of law enforcement and community partnerships in protecting students and supporting their milestone events.
