LAWRENCEVILLE COMMUNITY SHOCKED AS STUDENT-ATHLETE INJURED IN SERIOUS ACCIDENT

The Lawrenceville community is rallying together after news broke that Aiden Winningham, a member of the Lawrenceville Indians basketball team, was seriously injured in a car accident. The incident occurred after the team’s thrilling victory in the 1A Sectional Championship on Friday night.

Winningham was first taken to a hospital in Terre Haute before being transferred to a hospital in Indianapolis for further treatment. According to reports, he suffered a lacerated spleen, broken ribs, and internal bleeding. Despite the severity of his injuries, he has been coherent and able to communicate with his family and medical staff.

The accident has sent shockwaves through the Lawrenceville community, especially with the Indians scheduled to play in Charleston tonight (Monday). Support and prayers are pouring in for Winningham and his family as they face this difficult time.

There were also two other Lawrenceville students who were injured in a separate car accident. The names and extent of their injuries has not been released.
