The Fairfield Community of Christ Church held a blood drive on Wednesday, March 11th. The drive took in 51 productive units of blood.
Receiving American Red Cross donation pins were Peggy Breeze who received a 1 gallon pin, Keava McClellan who received a 3 gallon pin, Rick Thomason who received a 7 gallon pin, and David Savage who received his 13 gallon pin. There was one first time donor, Aaron Tucker of Fairfield.
Walmart provided 5 gift certificates for the prize drawing. Winners drawn were Jim Hoffee, Tom Seaman, Nicole Dozier, Rick Thomason, and Sandra Clark.
The American Red Cross would like to thank everyone who came out to donate. Blood donations at this time of the year are greatly appreciated and much needed. The next drive at the Fairfield Community of Christ Church will be held on Wednesday, May 6 from 11:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
