The Tri-State Food Bank in Evansville is expanding its outreach this month by adding a Mobile Food Distribution event in Albion. On Wednesday, March 25th, the Tri-State Food Bank truck will be at The Hope Center in Albion, distributing boxes of shelf-stable groceries, including vegetables, fruit, milk, eggs, and protein items, to local residents.
No identification is required to receive food; however, recipients will be asked to provide their zip code and the number of people in their household. The distribution will begin at 11:30 a.m. and will continue for two hours or until supplies run out. This event is organized as a convenient drive-through, allowing participants to remain in their vehicles while receiving food assistance.
