NAPA Auto Parts in Fairfield has announced the purchase of the former Skateland Roller Sport property at 1700 W. Main Street. The company plans to relocate its current store at 122 W. Delaware to the larger, newly acquired building.
Renovation work is already underway to prepare the 13,000-square-foot, all-steel facility for the move. The property, which sits on three acres, was purchased from Elaine Parker of Fairfield after being listed for sale in August of last year.
While no official timeline has been released for the move, NAPA expects the new location to provide expanded space and updated facilities for customers.
Skateland Roller Sport had been a Fairfield staple for 57 years before Parker retired from the business in February.
