89 year old Fairfield resident, Shirley Ann Dalton passed away Saturday March 28, 2026, at Heart to Heart Hospice Home in Evansville IN.
Shirley was born January 3, 1937, in Albion, Illinois to Harry and Hazel (Lowe) Wiles.
Shirley married Charles Dalton on November 27, 1955, in Albion, Illinois.
Shirley was a member of the First Chistian Church in Fairfield IL. She faithfully served as both a member and a secretary of the church for over 30 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband, 1 Brother Ronnie Wiles, 1 Nephew Kent Wiles, and 1 Son in law Herbi Fenton.
Shirley is survived by 2 daughters; DeLana Fleenor of Evansville, IN and Sharon Fenton of Fairfield, IL. 3 Grandchildren; Nathan (Betsy) Fleenor, Zack (Rachel) Fleenor, Kelby (Jesse) Fenton. 6 Great Grandchildren J.T., Emma, Claire, Luke, Owen, and Alex. Along with Several nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Shirley A. Dalton will be held Wednesday April 1st 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. With Funeral services at 11:00 a.m. Thursday April 2, 2026, at Nale’s Funeral Home in Fairfield Illinois. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery in Fairfield.
