The Clay County Health Department is preparing for its 4th annual Resource Roundup, set for Thursday, May 7th, from 3:30 to 6:00 p.m. at Charley Brown Park. This year’s event will feature a fun “Toy Story” theme and promises an afternoon full of activities and resources for the whole family.
The Resource Roundup is open to all ages and will include community resources, giveaways, door prizes, free laser tag, a free balloon artist, and free face painting. The Health Department is inviting all volunteer-based organizations interested in hosting a booth to secure their spot by calling April at 618-662-4406.
In addition to the Resource Roundup, the Health Department will present “Big Feelings Little Kids” on Tuesday, April 7th, from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. Parenting expert Leanne Goodwin will offer everyday tools to help parents navigate children’s big emotions.
