
Fairfield Memorial Hospital is proud to announce the addition of Samantha Sisco, Advanced Practice Nurse (APN), Family Nurse Practitioner-Certified (FNP-C), and Wound Care Certified (WCC), as the new leader of its Wound Care Clinic. Sisco brings a wealth of experience in family practice, case management, and specialized wound care to her new role.
Sisco is a Board Certified National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy (NAWCO) Clinician, demonstrating advanced expertise in wound management and a strong commitment to evidence-based care. She will oversee the hospital’s Wound Care Clinic, where she will provide comprehensive evaluation, treatment, and management for patients with acute and chronic wounds.
Sisco earned her Post-Master Family Nurse Practitioner certification from Purdue Global University and holds a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus in Public Health from Grand Canyon University. She also obtained her Associate of Science in Nursing from ITT Technical Institute and her Bachelor of Science in Health Services/Health Administration from the University of Southern Indiana.
Most recently, Sisco served as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Total Care Family Practice, assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients of all ages, with a focus on improving quality of life and coordinating care across healthcare settings. Her background also includes experience as a Registered Nurse Case Manager with Horizon Health Care, providing in-home wound management, and as a Charge Nurse at a rehabilitation hospital.
The Wound Care Clinic at Fairfield Memorial Hospital provides specialized care for patients with non-healing wounds, using advanced treatments and a multidisciplinary approach to promote healing and improve outcomes.
