GWRPC BOARD OF DIRECTORS REAPPOINTS OFFICERS FOR 2026

The Greater Wabash Regional Planning Commission (GWRPC) Board of Directors has reappointed its current slate of officers for an additional one-year term during its meeting on Thursday, March 19th. All four officers will continue to serve the Commission in their respective roles throughout 2026.

Rob Anniss of Richland County remains as Commission Chairman, with David Savage of Wayne County continuing as Vice-Chairman. Scott Merkle, also of Wayne County, will serve another term as Secretary, while Randy Hallam of Edwards County will continue his duties as Commission Treasurer.

The GWRPC Board of Directors is composed of representatives from all seven counties within the Commission’s service area, overseeing activities and initiatives across the region.

The GWRPC’s mission is to serve the Greater Wabash District by providing local, regional, and comprehensive planning; facilitating knowledge enhancement; securing and administering funds; and promoting cooperative solutions to regional issues. The Commission’s Economic Development District covers Crawford, Edwards, Lawrence, Richland, Wabash, Wayne, and White counties.
