Several guilty pleas were entered last Thursday in Wayne County Circuit Court.
Keirsten Boger, 19, of Sumner, pled guilty to Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. Boger was placed on 24 months of probation and ordered to pay court costs, perform 30 hours of public service work, and received credit for one day served in the Wayne County Jail. As part of a plea agreement, one count in the case was dismissed.
Marvin Legg, 65, of Fairfield, also pled guilty to Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. Legg was sentenced to two years of probation, ordered to pay court costs, and given credit for three days served in the Wayne County Jail.
Murl Bridges, 42, of Flora, pled guilty to Violation of the Child Murderer & Violent Offender Against Youth Act. Bridges was sentenced to two years in the Illinois Department of Corrections. The sentence will run concurrently with a current Clay County felony case. Per a plea agreement, Bridges was discharged from probation.
