Edwards County Farm Bureau reports that the recent “Bring on the Meats” promotion was a success, thanks to strong community support. Local residents contributed by purchasing paper cows and pigs, resulting in over 200 pounds of meat being donated to local food pantries this week.
Congratulations go to Mary Lee and Joy Coles, who each won gift certificates to Country Home Processing and Greathouse Grazing Acres. The Farm Bureau extends its gratitude to everyone who participated and helped make a difference in the community.
