48-year-old Joshua Musgrave of Geff appeared in Wayne County Circuit Court on Tuesday and pled guilty to Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. Musgrave was sentenced to two years of Conditional Discharge and ordered to pay court costs.
As part of the sentence, Musgrave must make restitution of $1,000 to the victim and $89 to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office. The court also ordered Musgrave to have no contact with, or go upon the premises of, three specified individuals.
Musgrave received a “stayed” sentence of 180 days in the Wayne County Jail, which will only be enforced if he violates the terms of his Conditional Discharge within the two-year period. He was given credit for 44 days already served.
In accordance with the plea agreement, four additional counts in the case were dismissed.
