Wabash Area Development, Inc. (WADI) has announced its 2026 Scholarship Program, offering college and occupational training scholarships to low-income individuals with high academic potential. The scholarships are funded through the Community Services Block Grant, which helps cover tuition, fees, and other program-specific expenses.
Eligible applicants can attend an accredited college, university, or trade school—in-state or out-of-state—and may be enrolled on a full-time or part-time basis. The scholarship is open to students from Edwards, Gallatin, Hamilton, Saline, Wabash, Wayne, or White County.
Awards are available for up to $5,000 per recipient. The program is designed in cooperation with the State of Illinois’ Office of Community Assistance at the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity.
Applications and additional information are available at WADI offices and at www.wadi-inc.com. All completed applications and required documents must be received by Thursday, May 7th.
