FCHS Board to Hold Regular Meeting on April 16th

The Fairfield Community High School (FCHS) Board of Education will hold its regular meeting on Thursday, April 16th at 6:00 p.m. in the FCHS Study Hall.
The agenda includes a roll call, approval of previous meeting minutes, financial reports, and payment of bills. The board will also recognize visitors and highlight student achievements, with a focus on the school’s FCCLA chapter.
Superintendent, Bobby Wells reports will cover topics such as the revenue-to-expense report, certificate of deposit rates, requests for proposals, costs associated with health/life safety roof projects, ADA compliance updates, the upcoming Washington, D.C. trip, and graduation events.
Principal, Tiffany Lyons will present a report, and the board will address several items of new business, including the approval of the Consolidated District Plan, dairy bids for the 2027 fiscal year, board meeting dates and times for FY27, roof repairs, the purchase of Wayfinder bus tracking software, and a first reading of Press Policy 121.
A closed session is scheduled to discuss personnel matters, including appointments, resignations, and employment considerations for coaching and teaching positions for the 2026-2027 school year. The board reserves the right to revert to a prior order of business before adjourning.
The meeting is open to the public.
