
Wayne County Deputies responded to a report of a residential burglary Sunday afternoon at approximately 3:00 p.m. at a rural residence near Clay City, located within Wayne County.
Investigators quickly identified Evan Bloehs, 36, of Clay City as a suspect. With assistance from the Richland County Sheriff’s Office, Bloehs was located at a hotel in Olney. Deputies recovered approximately $5,000 worth of stolen property from the Wayne County residence in Bloehs’ possession.
Bloehs was transported to the Wayne County Jail, where he is awaiting a detainment hearing. The recovered stolen property is being held pending its return to the rightful owner.
