NORTH WAYNE COMMUNITY UNIT SCHOOL DISTRICT #200 TO HOLD REGULAR BOARD MEETING WEDNESDAY

The North Wayne Community Unit School District #200 Board of Education will meet for its regular meeting on Wednesday, April 15th, at 6 PM, at Cisne Middle School in Mrs. Fetherling’s room.

The Board is scheduled to approve a comprehensive consent agenda, which includes minutes from the March 18th meeting, various personal leave and dock day requests, the Consolidated District Plan, field trip approvals for all schools, and an intergovernmental agreement for the Clay, Jasper, Richland, North Wayne Regional Delivery System supporting career and technical education. Additional approvals include the use of CHS facilities for the Cisne Fireworks event and FMLA for one employee.

Several staff resignations are to be accepted during the meeting and the Board will discuss the possibility of a portable classroom at Mt. Erie, review plans for new pickleball courts and shelter, and consider a BLDD review and proposal and discussions and considerations including dairy, L.P. gas, gasoline, diesel, and rock bids for Fiscal Year 2027, as well as renewal of the electrical contract with Priority Power.
