The Edwards County FFA Ag Mechanics team recently earned an impressive second place overall at the Section 23 Ag Mechanics Career Development Event. The competition challenged students with technical tasks in ag power, carpentry, electricity, surveying, and welding, following a written test.
Team members included Hallie Shelton, Chase Shelton, Levi Gill, Barnes Sawyer, and Cody Greathouse.
Individual achievements were as follows:
Chase Shelton: 1st in Carpentry
Hallie Shelton: 2nd in Surveying
Cody Greathouse: 2nd in Welding
Levi Gill: 4th in Ag Power
Barnes Sawyer: 5th in Electricity
