The 32nd Annual Family Literacy Fest will take place at Kiddie Kollege of Fairfield, located at 2226 Mount Vernon Rd, Fairfield. The event is scheduled for Saturday, May 2nd from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM and is free for children ages 0-8 years and their families.
The festival promises a fun-filled morning with a variety of activities, including a lion’s club train, petting zoo, bounce house, obstacle course, face painting, and goodie bags for attendees. Guests can also enjoy free tropical sno, crafts, door prizes, games, and the chance to visit with local police cars, fire trucks, and ambulances. There will also be a special opportunity for children to meet the characters, Bluey and Bingo from 10:45 to 11:45am.
The Family Literacy Fest is made possible by the Wayne County Family Engagement Program, Kiddie Kollege and the Wayne County Health Department.
