Fairfield Memorial Hospital honors an employee each month who has been nominated by their peers for providing extraordinary patient care and customer service within and outside of the Hospital.
Hannah Shelton, Patient Access Specialist with Horizon Healthcare, has been selected as Fairfield Memorial Hospital’s April 2026 Employee of the Month. Since joining the organization in September of 2024, Hannah has made a meaningful impact through her compassion, dedication, and commitment to patient care.
Hannah has flourished in her role and consistently goes above and beyond for patients every day. One memorable example of her dedication was when she spent an extended amount of time sitting with an upset patient to ensure they felt heard, supported, and cared for. Her kindness and empathy reflect the high level of service she brings to every interaction.
The Patient Access Specialist role carries many responsibilities, and Hannah succeeds in every aspect. She is always eager to learn, willingly takes on new tasks to help the clinic grow, and isn’t afraid to ask questions to serve patients and her team better.
Hannah’s positive attitude, strong work ethic, and genuine care for others make her a valued member of the Horizon Healthcare team and truly deserves this recognition.
