STUDENT ART EXHIBIT TO SHOWCASE YOUNG TALENT SATURDAY AT BOB BOYLES HALL

The Wayne County Arts Alliance is set to host its third major event, “Young Talents: A Showcase of Student Art,” this Saturday, May 2nd at Bob Boyles Hall on the Frontier Community College campus. The exhibit will highlight the creative achievements of high school- and college-aged artists from the area.

Doors open to the public at 10 a.m., with the event running until 5 p.m. Admission is free. Judging of the student artwork will begin at 9 a.m., prior to the public opening. An awards ceremony recognizing outstanding pieces is scheduled for 4 p.m.

At 2 p.m., Arts Alliance President Vicki Gifford will host an “Art Talk” and demonstration, offering insights into the creative process. Guests can also enjoy refreshments provided by local caterer, Baked. This inaugural showcase is made possible by corporate sponsor FNB of Fairfield.

The Wayne County Arts Alliance, formed in the fall of 2025, is dedicated to promoting and supporting area artists in fine art, woodworking, metalworking, ceramics, music, dance, and performing arts. The group has previously hosted exhibits at the 2025 Fall Fun Fest and during the Fairfield Christmas parade.
